About Ebury Court Residential Care Home
Ebury Court Residential Care Home in Romford Essex is committed to providing the highest quality for all service users to a standard of excellence that embraces the fundamental principles of good care practice.
We are committed to promoting as much independence as possible within the context of a safe environment and are dedicated to giving older people a welcoming and comfortable place that they can call home.
Founded in 1981 by Rodney and Grace Key, Ebury Court continues to be family run with their son Richard, joining the business in 1983.
Running Ebury Court Care Home is a team effort co-ordinated by our founders and senior staff members; Beverley Manzar (Registered Manager), Debbie Langdon (Deputy Manager) and Ann Ayris (Senior Team Leader). Between them, they are responsible for our team of over forty staff and for maintaining our exceptional standards and upholding our company beliefs.
We value our staff and place great emphasis upon training and supervision. Our care team and ancillary staff all have training in Dementia Care, Namaste Care, Infection Control, First Aid, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA), Manual Handling, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Dignity and Palliative Care. We are proud to have held the "Investors in People" award since May 1999.
We believe in offering our residents as much choice as possible and a very important part of this is the right to choose where and how they wish to be cared for at the end of their life. All our residents are offered the chance to record their wishes and we respect and adhere to these choices and offer palliative care of the highest level. This is evidenced by having achieved the Gold Standard Framework in Care Homes Quality Hallmark Award for End of Life Care at the highest level. This means that at a very difficult time, our residents are enabled to remain at Ebury Court, their "home".
